The Children’s Area will feature carnival games from Yujin Gakuen PTO, a scavenger hunt, craft kits, and activities from Adventure! Children’s Museum, Singing Creek Education Center, the Eugene Library, and Team Duckling from UO (11am-3pm) as well as origami instruction by Tomo Tsurumi (11am-1pm). Come play some games and win some prizes!

Our Heritage Exhibit tells fascinating stories of Asian immigrants once they arrived in Oregon.

Did you know that there was a Japanese colony at today’s Shotgun Creek Park near Marcola?  Or that a school named Ping Yang was bombed 3 times?

This year learn about early Chinese businesses in Eugene with a display by the University of Oregon Natural History Museum. See their new research at the Heritage Exhibit!
